Puerto de Mogan – also known as ´Little Venice´ - is the last tourist destination on this coastal stretch and a lot of painters have found their way here to relax, but also to paint in the beautiful alleys and streets. Here you can still experience peace and tranquillity without interruptions from partygoers.
The houses around the harbour are identical, but parts of the old village on the mountain side have been maintained and these parts of the village are just as exciting and charming as the area around the harbour – just in different ways.
Pueblo de Mogan is located 10km within the valley and is worth a visit. The village is known for its small shops – with benches both inside and outside – that are used a lot. Word has it that these benches are the home of as many important decisions as the town hall.

Although Puerto De Mogan - Gran Canaria, is not very big, there's still plenty of restaurants, and almost all have views over the harbor.
In a port like this, you naturally eat fish, and several places have a dish where you get several different fish, so it's just to get started with your fingers.
You find also some places where you can get local Tappas, and then there are specialties from Germany, because some of the restaurants run by Germans.
