In Playa del Ingles - south of Gran Canaria, there are untapped opportunities to shop. First, is here not less than 7 shopping malls, and there's a number of shops in almost every apartment complex, and partly because the more local businesses in and around the shopping center "San Fernando", located right on the other side of the major road.
San Fernando and Playa del Ingles is almost grown together, however, live many people who daily serve the tourists, up in San Fernando. Do you act or you go for a really good offer, then you should probably look into this area, besides shops are also hairdressers, opticians, etc. that you might just want to take advantage of now that they have received little too much sun

Update after Corona: Water park Maspalomas is open every day from 10 am - 6 pm
Aqua Sur / Aqualand Maspalomas is located on the road that leads to Palmitos Park or Zoo Park, as it is also called. This water park is definitely the one with the most opportunities, and it is also the most visited. It is so big that you can spend a whole day there without feeling long. It is a real playground for both children and adults. Remember lunch box is allowed here.
There are different categories of roller coasters, but be aware that some of them must be over 12 years of age to use, p.g.a. the speed achieved on the way down into the water.
Aqualand Maspalomas opens every day at. 10:00. Remember drinking water and lots of sunscreen.

Water sports Playa Del Ingles, speed on the blue waves.
In these climes, where the water temperature is rarely below 20 degrees, you should of course try some of the many opportunities for water sports. Here included water skiing, jet skiing, banana boating, surfing, kayaking, pedal boats, paragliding, and many other forms of speed on the blue waves.
If you follow the road down to the beach where all the taxis stands and continue straight ahead to the beach, you will find the diferents offers.
