"Spirit of the Sea" look out for Dolphins and Whales

After many years sailing in these waters we discovered the incredible amount and variety of dolphins and whales that swim in the area.

More than a third of the world's diversity has been identified in the islands. 

Hardly anyone at that time knew the fantastic richness we have here but almost everyone loves these wonderful beings, so we designed the "Spirit of the Sea" to make many people's dreams come true.

This glass-bottomed catamaran allows us to safely navigate to the area where we can see them and enjoy and learn something about them and thanks to the fantastic weather we enjoy in the Canary Islands, we can do it all year round.

Our excursions:

- 2 hours, to see the dolphins and whales

- 3 hours, in which we make a stop to swim in the sea after looking for dolphins and whales.

The ticket for all excursions costs 35 € for adults and 20 € for children from 3 to 12 years. Babies are free.

On board and during the whole trip there is free water and a soft drinks.

In case you don't see dolphins or whales, we give you a ticket to get on the boat for free another day.

The transfer from San Agustín to Puerto Rico and from Mogan to Amadores is included in the price.

Playa Amadores on Gran Canaria, which is located farther towards Mogan, has been the labelled the ´new´ Puerto Rico. A 400m long artificial beach with sand from the Caribbean has been constructed, and a lovely promenade with shops and restaurants overlooks the beach. You can walk from the ´old harbour´ in Puerto Rico to Amadores on a man-made path that has been mounted on the rocks below the road – colloquially known as ´The Great Wall of China, but on Gran Canaria.

From Puerto Rico you can sail to both Puerto De Mogan and Arguineguin. Ferries depart twice an hour, the last returning in the late afternoon. Whichever town you choose to sail to, it's a trip of less than an hour, and on the return trips there are fish being fed, which you can enjoy the sight of from the ferries' glass bottoms.Remember, if you want to sail to the market in Arguineguin on Tuesdays, and to Mogan on Fridays, you need to get down to the ferry early, as it's a popular trip.

It is in Puerto Rico as in other places on Gran Canaria, a struggle to get as many people into his restaurant as possible, preferably before they come over to the neighbor, so it is not certain they will come back. For this purpose, you are more or less imaginative, for example. then you bid a little one to the neck, when approached menu sign, which, incidentally, is 8 -10 different languages, with a translation which at times can resemble a completely different language. Some places have a local musician who stands at the entrance and play on his instrument, but in the evening falls a few tones, as the small, fast slides down the throat. Those who run away with the victory are the places where there is a possibility of a watch sports on a great big flat screen, and the major sporting events, one has the more compromising his principles, and rent a television - just like your neighbor.
