If you are up for exploring nature of Gran Canaria, there are plenty of opportunities to do so through bike rides, horse riding, camel rides and various hiking routes.
A common feature for all of the above is the different complexity levels, thus allowing everyone to participate and enjoy the day even though they might not be in fantastic shape. For more information on trips into the wild, contact the reception desk at your hotel or send us an email.
If you want to wander a little, but not up in the mountains, you can find on the coastal road several places where you can park and go to the water's edge, definitely finding something that creative heads can use or make something out of. If you are not self-employed, you can catch the public bus, it has several stops on this road.
You can also take the bus to Las Palmas and get off right at the start of the city. There is a wide pedestrian zone of 11km, so you can get the glow of control even if you do not want in the mountains. This trip is also along the water, and it goes through several smaller buildings where get some amazing fishing dishes, for no money, so alone it is worth the whole trip.
Bon appetite.
